My tiles arrived. I’ll be using them soon. I’m so happy that Hobby Island are up and running. Such a great variety of tiles.
No order, no refund and non response to email messages
One of the items I ordered didn’t arrive with my order but as soon as I contacted Hobby Island they reimbursed me straightaway.
My three grandchildren loved these owl kits . We had 2 rainbow and one green kit. They were easy to make with good glue sticks and lovely little tiles The eyes were especially effective . I’d definitely recommend them
I have ordered many times before with no issues but this time, one item was missing (marked out of stock so why was I allowed to order it ?) and the bag of tile adhesive was ripped so contents spilled out of box. Dust appeared as soon as I put box on worktop at home. So opened with care to find product spilled out . Have emailed Hobby Island with no response as yet.

The product was great, eventually, but mosaic artists are often working to a tight deadline, so you really need to improve on your despatch times.

I hate leaving negative reviews but this is not about the product - just fulfilment of my order. Ordered on 13th March - had update on 19th saying it was dispatched - two subsequent follow ups by me (now 2nd April) and still no sign of my order. My project is now seriously delayed and I’m feeling incredibly frustrated and let down. Deliveries from China (Temu) arrive quicker than this!
This mix is very unbalanced - too many grey tiles and very few black and white ones.
The mix photo is misleading - way too many grey tiles and not enough back and white in the mix.
Good quality, however it would be greatly appreciated if you were able to sell MDF bases with different variations of thickness. Otherwise…very happy!
Don't use this glue for glass-on-glass mosaic as it won't dry! I'm having to remove all my (probably 100) pieces to redo using a better glue.
As always, from Hobby Island, the quality of glass is very high and the colours perfect.
These were exactly the tiles I wanted for the mosaic I am working on and arrived quickly. Thank you.
These are beautifully cut stained glass petals. I use them to make stained glass bouquets and excellent product.
I found some of the corners broken and the finish on the tile not what it used to be

A couple of wrong items rectified immediately and considering new owner,staff training and Royal Mail problems the service and engagement was fantastic....
