Shipping policy

Dispatch time:
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days (Monday–Friday).  Large/wholesale orders may take longer.

 

Shipping options:

All orders are shipped by Royal Mail 24 hr tracked.


Delivery cost:

Your delivery cost will be calculated automatically during checkout and can also be estimated in the shopping cart.

 

Orders under 2kg: £3.99

Orders over 2kg: £7.99

Orders over £00: FREE

 

UK Deliveries

Should your order become lost in the post we will refund or resend your order after the 15 working days allowance.

 

We reserve the right to dispatch your order via an alternative courier should we deem it necessary.

 

Please note that we are mostly unable to deliver to PO boxes and therefore choosing this as a delivery destination may result in a delay in receiving your goods.

 

Items:

Where possible we will always try and dispatch our sheets of tiles in complete sheets however depending on the batch there may be some occasions where tiles are shipped loose in bags or in smaller strips/sheets. Please be assured you always receive the correct amount/weight. If you have a specific preference please do contact us (info@hobby-island.co.uk) and we will do our best to help you out.

 

Deliveries:

Please check the estimated delivery time and then add three working days in case of delays in transit. Once this delivery time has passed you should contact your local Royal Mail depot giving your house number and postcode as cards are not always left. After you have followed these steps and the Royal Mail have confirmed they do not have your order, you must contact us within 30 days in writing.

 

We reserve the right to send replacement orders 10 working days after you received your ‘Order dispatched’ email. This is to allow the Royal Mail time to investigate your lost order.

If your order is returned to us because you did not pick it up from the delivery office after a failed delivery attempt, you will be required to pay the delivery cost to re-send the item.

 

Free Delivery over £100

We are very pleased to offer Free UK Standard Delivery on all orders over £100 to mainland UK addresses. Due to the value of your order, this will usually be shipped via courier although this is not guaranteed.

 

Any returns initiated from an order which qualified for Free delivery but would not have, had the returned items not been ordered, will be subject to a delivery charge deduction from the returned items refund.

 

International Deliveries

Please Note: For international orders to destinations outside of the UK mainland import taxes and duties may be applicable, these costs are to be paid by the buyer. If this charge is not paid and the package is returned to us by the postal service a refund for the items will be applied but the shipping costs will not be refunded.
