Great glue, poor tube

I love this glue, but the move to the new tube has ruined it for me. You could hold the old tube in your hand and apply it directly to the glass. That is not possible with this tube and it needs to be squeezed out onto a surface and then applied with a spatula. This leads to wastage and the higher price for this glue is no longer worth it for me because of the lack of convenience. It's a shame because the glue is great and I have used it for 10+ years.
