Kit - Rooster 20cm

Having never bought mosaics before, it is difficult to know what to expect. The first substrate had to be replaces and this was done swiftly and without hassle. 10/10 to Hobby Island Mosaics.
The instructions seemed good but I wasn't sure whether I needed to prime the substrate supplied. It would have been helpful to have had the same colours as the ones pictured and maybe some idea what went where for the less artistic amongst us. There are hardly any pieces left over which would not be a problem except several of the tiles in the kit were damaged. This meant I had to use those damaged tiles within the work as I had no replacements. No doubt when I have grouted it, it will look better but a couple of extra tiles in each colour would have avoided this problem.
Overall the finished piece looks great and the customer service was good so I would use the shop again. .

Damage on pieces colour had come off rooster does not stand up

I bought this for my father who is in his eighties and has always been creative, he has dementia now and shakes a little, but I wanted to see if he could manage this and he absolutely loved making it! I'm buying him some more kits due to the success.
